About the Instructor
Growing up sailing in Boston, Carol's sailing experience ranges from dinghies to big boats. Curious about everything, her sailing experience is diverse. She has done a variety of types of sailing from racing dinghies and small keelboats, to living aboard a big boat, and cruising throughout New England and in the Mediterranean. At 38, she left the practice of law to share her love of the outdoors and empower others through sports. Since then, Carol has made a living sailing, surfing, and skiing.

Carol holds a 50 Ton Master Captain’s License with Auxiliary Sail Endorsement. She has a love of racing, and is a US Sailing Level 3 certified Race Coach. She is an American Sailing Association certified cruising instructor for levels 101, 103, and 104. She has beenCaro a Director of Sailing at numerous yacht clubs and sailing facilities. She has run adaptive race programs as well as the largest women’s race program in the country and is still active as a race coach.
When not sailing, Carol can be found surfing, skiing, mountain biking, and having all sorts of outdoor adventures.
